Itabiyi, Isler pace WBHS teams at Flowery Branch

Second-place finishes for the WBHS girls included:

•Whitley Kennedy, 800-meter run, 2:33.42

•Caitlin Connell, 1,600-meter run, 5:37.02

Fourth-place finishes included:

•Delaina Sylvain, 100-meter dash, 12.81

•Caitlin Connell, 800-meter run, 2:40.22

Fifth-place finishes included:

•Delaina Sylvain, 200-meter dash, 26.62

•Anna Dean, 3,200-meter run, 12:46.77

Sixth-place finishes included:

•Whitley Kennedy, 400-meter dash, 1:02.80

•Amanda Cope, 3,200-meter run, 12:56.17.

Dunwoody won the girls event with 114.50 overall points followed by Mill Creek, Collins Hill, West Forsyth, WBHS, Mountain View, Maynard H. Jackson, Flowery Branch, Ola and North Atlanta.

For the WBHS boys, Kendall Isler won the high jump with a mark of 6-0 while Quintin Long took first in the discus with a throw of 136-01.

Robert Woods was runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.80. Woods also took third in the 300-meter hurdles in 43.60.

•Alex Martinez, 800-meter run, 2:09.57

Fifth-place finishes included:

•Jamonte Riden, 100-meter dash, 11.35

Sixth-place finishes included:

•William Wright, 3,200-meter run, 10:47.47

Dunwoody also won the boys overall competition followed by Collins Hill, Duluth, Flowery Branch, WBHS, Mill Creek, Mountain View, Ola, Maynard H. Jackson and West Forsyth.
