HART County pitcher Wade Martin tossed a one-hitter Wednesday as the Bulldogs beat Jefferson 5-0.

Micah Carpenter managed the lone hit for Jefferson, a single in the fourth inning. Hart County scored a run in the first inning, three in the fourth and one more in the sixth.

Jefferson starter Max Ford threw a complete game, giving up five runs (three earned), eight hits and no walks while striking out two.

Wade Martin hit four JHS players and walked four others. JHS left nine on base.
