The Banks County High School golf teams got the season started this past week but with short daylight hours the teams did not complete nine holes and individual scores were incomplete.
The boys team lost to Stephens County 175-222 and the girls team won over the Indians 71-75.
"Cara Gowder is still playing strong golf, and I am excited about two freshman who are working hard to get better,” Coach Len Dalton said. “Kaitlyn Duncan and Jody Milford should really be making an impact as we progress further into the golf season."
