Golf: Whitley shoots a 37 as JCCHS boys split Tuesday matches
JACKSON County (7-1) shot a 170 Tuesday, beating Banks County (223) and losing to Stephens County (169).
Thomas Whitley led the Panthers with a 37 while York Delloyd posted a 39. Stephens County’s top golfer shot a school-record 32.
Golf: JCCHS girls pick up win and tie Tues.
THE JACKSON County girls' golf team shot a 99 Tuesday to tie Banks County and beat Stephens County (107). Leading the way for the Lady Panthers were Beth Bates (46) and Haleigh McCullum (53).

Golf: Whitley’s 38 leads 6-0 Jackson Co. boys
JACKSON County’s Thomas Whitley shot a 38 to lead the Panthers to a 169-188 win over Dawson County Monday at Chestatee Golf Course.
Jackson County is now 6-0.
“We are very consistent with our scores,” Panther coach Warren Standridge said. “I hope we can improve a little more as we move forward. I know we are working as hard as we possibly can.”
Golf: Garner, McCullum shoot rounds of 53 for JCCHS girls
THE JACKSON County girls’ golf team got rounds of 53 from Jordan Garner and Haleigh McCullum Monday but lost to Dawson County 100-106 on the road.

Golf: 5-0 JCCHS boys top Stephens Co. by 17 strokes
JACKSON County got rounds of 42 out of Thomas Whitley and Colin Hubbard as the Panthers beat Stephens County Thursday, 170-187, at Traditions of Braselton Golf Club.
The victory moved Jackson County to 5-0.
“We are consistent but need to go lower to get to state,” Jackson County coach Warren Standridge said. “The men continue to work hard every day.”

Golf: Garner, Fife lead Jackson Co. girls to win
JORDAN Garner and Katie Fife shot rounds of 33 on six holes Wednesday as the Jackson County girls beat East Jackson, 66-78, at Double Oaks Golf Club.
“They played a great match and corrected the little mistakes that has been hurting the scores,” Jackson County coach Jeff Algard said.
Scoring for East Jackson were Victoria Nixon (37) and Sara Spinelli (41).
Golf: Panthers cruise to 4-0 with win over rival EJCHS
THE JACKSON County boys' golf team moved to 4-0 with a 165-210 win over East Jackson at Double Oaks Golf Club. York Delloyd and River Bryant both carded rounds of 40.
Panthers are now a combined 22-3 in nine-hole matches the past two seasons.
