Mixed results for Lady Hawks

This weekend, Mill Creek will take on the best in the area as they play in the Gwinnett County Tournament.

Lions Declawed

Mill Creek beat the Hebron Lady Lions for the second time this season on Tuesday. The Lady Hawks beat Hebron in two games, both by a score of 25-21.

The Chamblee Bulldogs proved to be more formidable.

Mill Creek lost to Chamblee 2-1. The Lady Hawks won the first game, but lost the next two.

Ashley Jackson led the Hawks with 31 assists. Lauren Rhodes had 19 kills and 8 aces. Alyson White added 15 digs and 7 aces.

Parkview Prevails

The Mill Creek volleyball team split matches again on Thursday night, losing to Parkview and beating Tucker High School.

The Lady Panthers beat Mill Creek 25-19 and 25-12.

The match against Tucker High School had a better outcome for the Lady Hawks. Mill Creek won the first game 25-15 and the second 25-14.

Mo Simmons led Mill Creek with 13 kills. Jackson added 25 assists for the night.
