The Georgia High School Association approved a plan last week that would establish separate playoffs for public and private schools in Class A beginning next season.
The decision directly impacts Commerce High School. The majority of schools in its Region 8A are private. Furthermore, private schools have dominated the postseason in any number of Class A sports in recent years. Taking them out of play could improve the Tigers’ postseason opportunities.

To think that public schools like Commerce don't recruit as private schools do is being naive.

If commerce recruits, they really do a poor job of it
