Six new members will be inducted into the Winder-Barrow High School Sports Hall of Fame for 2012.
This year’s selections include:
•Jon Terrell, Class of 2002, soccer
•Candy Phillips Greene, Class of 2003, soccer
•Billy Sheridan, Class of 1951, football and baseball
•Stanley Rogers, Class of 1981, football and track
•Danielle Hulsey, Class of 2006, competition cheerleading
•Jerrie Hulsey, state championship competition cheerleading coach
The inductees will be recognized during a ceremony at the Feb. 3 basketball game against Madison County.
The 2012 selection committee includes Sonny Morris, Jason Austin, Sammy Hale, John Mobley, Kay Turner, Elton Lynn, Ben Arms, Kevin Black, Hal Miller, Phil Bradberry, Justin Grant, Al Darby and Jerrie Hulsey. Nominations are now being accepted for the 2013 Sports Hall of Fame class.
