The girls won 56-50, while the boys downed the Gladiators 60-49.
After trailing early 19-16 after one half of play, the Madison County rebounded with 40 second-half points to defeat Clarke Central 56-50. Entering the third period, the Lady Raiders pulled ahead on a 12-4 run to take the lead at 28-23. The run began and ended with three pointers from Elise Coberly.
Clarke Central cut the lead to 34-32 at the end of the third quarter. The Lady Glads knotted the score at 42-42 midway throw the final quarter, but the Lady Raiders sealed the deal with a late 11-4 run. Macy Rutledge gave Madison County the lead for good after connecting on a three pointer with 1:02 left.

In boys’ action, Madison County jumped ahead early, 9-2, with three straight three pointers from T.J. Skelton, Trey Carruth and Brock Turner. The early lead stuck until the Glads opened the second period with nine consecutive points to tie the game at 19.
Clarke Central took the lead with 2:05 left in the third quarter. But the edge lasted just seconds before Terrell McCrary connected on two free throws followed by a three-pointer from Alex Jordan that gave the Red Raiders the lead for good.
Madison County sealed the win after hitting nine of 10 shots from the line in the final quarter.
