The Apalachee High School Lady Wildcats held on for a slim two-point win against Athens Christian School Saturday.
Trying to bounce back after a 39-35 loss to Winder-Barrow Friday, AHS stepped out of subregion play against the Lady Eagles. Despite leading 35-22 at halftime and 55-37 after the third quarter, the Lady Wildcats had to escape with a 65-63 win.
Saboyce Shelton was the leading scorer with 32 points for AHS.
