Wrestling: East Jackson drops two matches at area duals

EAST JACKSON fell to both Dawson County and Fannin County as it bowed out of the Region 8-AA duals early over the weekend.

The Eagles, however, did have several wrestlers enjoy individual success as Garrett Lott (106 lb.), Jake Tate (138 lb.), Alex Trejo (160 lb.) and Jeff Chandler (285 lb.) all went 2-0 in their matches.

The Eagles, who wrestled this past Tuesday against East Hall, have this weekend off and will resume their schedule Jan. 17 with a tri-match with Oconee County and Greene County at home for Senior Night.
