Quality outing turned in by Swim Doggs

Buttler was also the winner in the 100 backstroke while McDaniels won the 100 butterfly. Hentenaar won the 500 freestyle.

Ian Hentenaar won the 200 individual medley with Jared Glenn swimming to victory in the 100 breaststroke.

Anna Dean and Clara Moody paced the Lady Swim Doggs with three first-place showings. Dean, Moody, Caitlin Hentenaar and Ashley Cook won the 200 medley relay. Dean also won the 100 freestyle and the 100 backstroke.

Moody was the first swimmer to complete the 500 freestyle. She teamed with Caitlin Connell, Katie Ginsberg and Kristina Brown to win the 200 freestyle relay. Cook also won the 200 freestyle for WBHS.

Overall, WBHS was second in 10 events including:

•Kristina Brown and Skyler Lowe, 200 freestyle

•Dakotah Kay, 200 individual medley and 500 freestyle

•Ashley Cook, 50 freestyle

•Ian Hentenaar, 100 butterfly

•Nelson Lofton, 100 freestyle

•Ryan Miller and Caitlin Connell, 100 breaststroke.

•Clara Moody, Kristina Brown, Katie Ginsberg and Caitlin Connell, 400 freestyle relay.

Ryan Hendrickson was third in the 100 and 200 freestyle events while Ginsberg was third in the girls 100 freestyle.

Miller was sixth in the boys 50 freestyle competition while Lofton was eighth. Brown was fourth in the girls event.

WBHS returns to the pool Saturday at the University of Georgia at 2 p.m. The event will be at the Gabrielsen Natatorium.
