The Winder-Barrow High School swim program experienced plenty of success last week at a five-team event at the Steve Lunquist Aquatic Center in Jonesboro.
The WBHS boys had eight first-place finishes while the Lady Swim Doggs earned six.
“All in all, the meet was great and the kids left with a lot of confidence toward their abilities,” said coach Jennifer Blevins.
Mitchell Buttler, Quinn McDaniels, Alex Hentenaar and Jake Hester led WBHS in the 200-meter medley relay, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relay. WBHS won each of these events.
