Softball
Sept. 16 - The Lady Eagles extended their win streak to five on Tuesday, as they defeated the Lady Wildcats of Rabun County 6-0. The win extends East Jackson's record to 3-1 in the region, and 14-4 overall. The win moved East Jackson into solo ownership of second place in 8B-AA, trailing North Oconee by two games.
The Lady Eagles are scheduled to Union County on Thursday at home. First pitch is scheduled for 5:55 p.m.
Volleyball
Sept. 16 - The Lady Eagles picked up their first area win of the year on Tuesday, defeating Greene County in two close sets. East Jackson won set one by a score of 25-22, and the second 27-25. Earlier in the day, the Lady Eagles had lost to Athens Christian 0-2, and to North Oconee 0-2.
East Jackson is scheduled to face Cedar Shoals and Loganville at Cedar Shoals on Thursday.
