Even in their final game of 2011, the Winder-Barrow High School Bulldoggs continued to battle.
While Cedar Shoals would emerge with a 33-0 victory, WBHS coach David Wagner liked the effort his team gave in the last contest of the season.
“I thought we played well, especially in the first half,” Wagner said. “Our kids came out and really competed against a physically bigger opponent. We moved the football some in spots and gave a tremendous effort. In the end, their size and speed got to us in the second half.”

I agree with #1 frustrated. When is the WBHS football players, the parents of these players, and the taxpayers that pay these coaches salaries had enough of 0-10 seasons. Stop making excuses for losing. Do the right thing guy's, admit it, you as coaches do not have what it takes to teach these kids how to be sucessful as people or the game of organized football. The fat lady has sung fellas.

I hope the coach for the Meadowcreek Mustangs football schedules WBHS in 2012. The mighty Mustangs from Meadowcreek have not had a win since........the last presidential election? Anyway it has been along time since these guy's have tasted victory. My prediction if this game were to take place...Mustangs..49 WBHS..7. Infamous reasons for loss..Too much size and speed. We COACHED really well.
