Leopards have too much offense for Dawson

The Banks County High School football team continued to have impressive offensive numbers last Friday night.

This time the opposition wasn't able to keep up as the Leopards defeated visiting Dawson County 48-27. BCHS (1-2 overall, 1-1 in Region 8-AA) compiled 551 yards of total offense including a 274 yard rushing effort by senior Justin Beasley. Demetric Dempson added 122 yards in the victory.

The Leopards will travel to Rabun County this Friday night for a 7:30 p.m. region contest. See Thursday's edition of The Banks County News for a preview and a complete report on the win against Dawson County.
