Coming off a dominating victory over Morgan County the previous week, the Commerce faithful hoped for a wave of moment would carry the Tigers to their second victory of the year Friday night.
But the momentum went from being a wave to a mere trickle, as the Franklin County Lions stunned Commerce with a crushing 27-0 win over the Tigers.
It's the first time the Tigers have been held scoreless since Nov. 4, 2005, when they lost in post-season play to Warren County 14-0.
