Commerce falls to Washington-Wilkes

Washington-Wilkes handed Commerce its third loss of the season, outscoring the Tigers 33-0 at Tiger Field.

All but one touchdown came in the first half, with Washington-Wilkes' quarterback Buck Robinson completing 13-17 passes for 230 yards and several touchdowns.

Washington-Wilkes (1-2) ended the game with 333 total yards to Commerce's 92.

Commerce (1-3) has a bye next week before its homecoming game on Sept. 30 against Athens Christian.

The game will be the Tigers' first Region 8-A contest.
