East Jackson quarterback Tyler Collins romped for 183 yards on 17 carries, while running back C.J. Allen added 169 yards on 19 attempts as the Eagles (2-1) steamrolled rival Banks County 35-7.
Allen, who didn't play last week, responded this week with his second 100-yard night of the season as East Jackson rebounded from a 35-0 loss to Oconee County last week. Click here for game pictures.
Meanwhile, Collins enjoyed a breakout game after rushing for 65 and 68 yards respectively in the first two games.
East Jackson, which throttled Banks County 38-0 last year, scored 21 points in the second quarter to break the game open and take a 28-7 lead at the half.
The Eagles completed just one pass, but didn't need an aerial game as they rolled up 354 yards rushing.
The loss was the first for Banks County (2-1) under new head coach Phillips Jones.
East Jackson begins subregion play on the road next week against rival Jackson County.
