The Jefferson Dragons are facing the Rebels of Fannin County Friday night in their second region game of the season and the home opener.
Fannin finished top of their sub-region in 2007 and are 2-0 coming into Friday’s game to face the Dragons. Coach Bill Navas said that the Rebels are a good team.
“[Fannin] is a very good football team,” said Navas. “They are really big and well coached and disciplined. We know they are going to be a tremendous challenge for us and we hope that we have somewhat of an advantage at home.”
