Cross Country
Sept. 9 - East Jackson played host to an open meet on Tuesday. It was a historic day for the Eagles, as the boys' team recorded the first perfect score in school history to pick up the win. Cedar Shoals placed second, followed by Banks County, Riverside Military Academy, Jackson County and Commerce.
The girls also won their five team meet, with Jackson County fnishign second, followed by Cedar Shoals, Banks County and Commerce.
Next up for East Jackson is the Eagle Run Invitational on Sept. 20 at EJCHS.
Softball
Sept. 9 - The Lady Eagles recorded their second region win of the season Tuesday, defeating Oglethorpe County 6-0. The victory improves East Jackson's record to 2-0 in the region, and 8-3 overall.
The Lady Eagles are scheduled to start play in the Oconee-North Oconee Invitational on Friday.
Volleyball
Sept. 9 - The East Jackson Lady Eagles dropped two matches in Jefferson on Tuesday. The first loss came at the hands of Athens Academy, 2-0. The Lady Dragons then defeated East Jackson 2-0 in the second match of the day.
The Lady Eagles are scheduled to play host to Prince avenue on Thursday, beginning at 5 p.m.
