The Mill Creek volleyball team won one, but lost three at this weekend’s Gwinnett/Cobb Challenge.
The Lady Hawks’ lone win was against Wheeler High School. Mill Creek won that match 2-0 with scores of 25-9 in the first game and 25-19 in the second.
The Lady Hawks lost to Kennesaw Mountain (10-25, 14-25), North Cobb (13-25, 14-25) and Lassiter (15-25, 14-25).
Ashley Jackson led Mill Creek with 24 assists. Lindsay Davis had 13 kills and ten digs for the tournament.
The Lady Hawks travel to Cedar Shoals on Tuesday for a double header. Mill Creek faces Cedar Shoals at 4:55 p.m. followed by a match against Habersham at 5:55 p.m.
