Tennis Tigers End Season

The Commerce Tiger netters saw their season end this week as the boys fell to the Eagles of Riverside, while the girls’ went out in the first round of region play.

The final regular season matches came on March 29, when Commerce hosted Tallulah Falls.

The boys lost 5-0, while the girls lost 4-1. Their lone win came from the number two doubles team of Kayla Burks and Hannah Davis.

On Monday, the boys played host to Riverside in a match to decide the fourth seed in the region. The Eagles came away with the victory, ending the Tigers’ season.

Meanwhile, the girls began region tournament play Monday, facing Athens Academy. The Lady Spartans came away with the victory, ending Commerce’s season.
