In what could be a preview of the top two teams from each half of 8-AAAA, Loganville High School edged Winder-Barrow High School 5-4 Friday afternoon at Charles W. Maddox Complex.
The loss did not change the Bulldoggs' unblemished record in the subregion as they enter this week 13-5 overall and 6-0 in Region 8-AAAA North. WBHS will travel to Madison County Monday for a 5:30 p.m. contest.
The Bulldoggs hammered Habersham Central 12-1 last Wednesday. See the April 13 print edition of the Barrow Journal for a complete update on the WBHS baseball team.
