Eagle Netters Best Rabun

The East Jackson tennis squads wrapped up their regular season March 24, with the boys picking up a win over Rabun County while the girls lost a close match.

The boys came away with a 3-2 victory. Winners included Tony Johnson at number two singles, Sherying Ly at number three singles and Kyle Wood and Caleb Maxwell at number one doubles.

The girls came up short against the Lady Wildcats, falling 3-2. Winners included Jessalyn Jordan and Carly Brooks at number one doubles, while Rebekah Poponi and Jill Edmondson won at number two doubles.

Region tournament play starts April 14 at North Oconee.
