Winder Dixie Youth to host opening day

Winder Dixie Youth will host opening day activities Saturday, April 2, beginning at 9 a.m.

There will be 23 teams playing that day, Dixie Youth officials said.

In addition the Braves Bat team will be there along with “Chopper” from Gwinnett Braves and other surprises.

Kimberly Clark will sing the National Anthem.

Vendors are still being accepted for $50 a space. Those interested should call Danell at 678-570-7987. Volunteers are also needed for opening day. Call Deedra @ 404-985-2571 for more information.
