After losses to Winder Barrow and North Oconee, the East Jackson tennis teams enter the last week of regular season play.

East Jackson was slated to face Jackson County in its final regular season home match on Tuesday. Results were unavailable at press time.

The tennis teams hit the road for their regular season finale on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in Rabun County.

East Jackson played host to Winder-Barrow last Wednesday. The boys were swept by the Bulldoggs 5-0. Tony Johnson lost a close match at number two singles in a third-set tiebreaker.

The girls came up on the short end of a 2-3 score. Carly Brooks and Jessalyn Jordan picked up the win at number one doubles, while Rebekah Poponi and Jill Edmondson won at number two doubles.

North Oconee

On Thursday, East Jackson hosted North Oconee. Both teams were swept 5-0.
