Lady netters set for Dawson, Tues.

On Wednesday, the Lady Leopards finished up their delayed match against Rabun County from March 10.

Banks County netters won 4-1 over Rabun, led by number one singles Kara Murphy, 6-0; 6-0 in her sets. Number two singles, Lezlee Bonnett defeated her opponent 6-3; 6-4, while at number three singles, a hard fought match unfortunately ended the wrong way as Sefali Patel fell 3-4; 4-6.

The doubles action sealed the win for the Lady Leopards as number one team Taylor Seabolt and Anna Gailey won 6-3, 6-1. At number two doubles, Ashley O'Kelley and Haley Hill handily defeated their opponents for the win, 6-0; 6-0.

Following the win over Rabun, Banks County returned to the home courts and pulled out the sweep 5-0 over Fannin County.

Murphy made short work, 6-0; 6-0, while at number two Bonnett defeated a very tough Ashley Minter in a three set battle, 6-2; 5-7; 6-3.
Seabolt/Gailey went 6-0; 6-3 and O’Kelley/Hill completed the sweep, 6-0; 6-0.
