BC 5-1 overall after going 14-1 over E. Hall

A big win for the Banks County baseball team Tuesday night moved the boys to 5-1 in region standings, 5-3 overall.

The diamond Leopards had a no hitter over East Hall Tuesday night that led to the 14-1 win over the sub-region opponent. This is the second win for Banks County over East Hall this season.

Coming up the Leopards take on Dawson County on the road, Thursday. First pitch at 5:30 p.m.


Next week the boys play host to Rabun County Monday at 5:30 p.m. before facing Fannin County in a rematch at Fannin Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

Pitcher Taylor Foster earned the win on the mound Tuesday night as Seth McEntire stepped on for short relief before Eli Autry put it away with the close.

“I’m proud of where we are, but we still are trying to get better at the intangibles,” said coach Dean Goodwin.

While the win Tuesday was good boost for the Leopards, Banks County lost a close game that would have left the boys as the number one team in the sub-region last Wednesday.
