Lady Eagles At North Oconee Fri.

After back-to-back losses to Jackson County and Jefferson last week, the East Jackson Lady Eagles will travel to Bogart Friday to face North Oconee.

North Oconee comes into the week fresh off a 75-14 shellacking of Oglethorpe County, making it 6-3 in the region and 16-6 overall.

The Lady Eagles are still looking for their first win against North Oconee. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.

On Tuesday, the Lady Eagles were slated to host Jefferson in a game postponed from Jan. 14 due to snow. Results were unavailable at press time.

Jackson County

On Friday, the Eagles traveled to JCCHS to face the Lady Panthers.

Jackson County jumped out to a 10—5 first-quarter advantage and led 21-15 at the half en route to a 51-35 decision.

Caroline Hicks led East Jackson with 16 points.

Jefferson

On Saturday, the Lady Eagles hosted Jefferson.

The Lady Dragons outscored the Eagles 15-2 in the first quarter. The Lady Eagles rallied in the second, outscoring Jefferson 10-7 to make it a 22-12 game at the half, but the Lady Dragons returned the favor and went up 37-22 after three periods, eventually winning 49-39.
