Tigers Lose 2nd In A Row To Dragons
The Commerce Tigers went into Friday night’s game hoping for a little revenge over the Dragons of Jefferson for last year’s 42-7 loss.
What they got was a reality check on the things they need to fine-tune before they get to October and region game play, as the Dragons took control early and won going away, 35-14.
The Tigers have no time to dwell on the Jefferson loss. They have three more games to get the bugs worked out of their system before they start region play next month.
They’ll travel to Madison on Friday for a 7:30 contest with the Morgan County Bulldogs, who are coming off of a 20-14 loss in their season opener against Mary Persons.
