Basketball: No JHS games this weekend

Due to snow and ice that has remained from Sunday's snow storm, Jefferson's home basketball games with East Jackson Friday have been cancelled and won't be made up Saturday.

School officials are still trying to workout reschedule dates for the East Jackson games as well as those against Elbert County, which were cancelled this past Tuesday due to icy conditions resulting from Sunday's snowstorm which dumped five inches of snow on the area.

Four to five inches of snow still remain around parts of Jefferson's gym.

Jefferson returns to the court Tuesday against Oglethorpe County, ending a 10-day layoff for the Dragons and Lady Dragons.
