Basketball: JCCHS looking at reschedule date for East Jackson game

Nothing is set in stone yet, but Jackson County could remake its cancelled Tuesday games with East Jackson on Saturday, Jan. 22.

School officials are looking into that date after icy conditions following Sunday's snow storm wiped out Tuesday's action.

Jackson County won't have to worry about deciding on weekend game cancellations, however, since it had no games scheduled this weekend anyway.

Meanwhile, the boys' team's game with Dawson County this Tuesday (Jan. 18) is still "a-go," according to Panther coach Britt Beaver. That game will break an 11-day layoff for the Panthers.

The girls' teams aren't playing that night, however. The Lady Panthers' next game is Jan. 21 against North Oconee, which means the team will be coming off a two-week layoff going into that game.
