Holton named All-Northeast Georgia

Holton helped clear the way for the AHS running game in 2010 which compiled 3,100 yards. He also led the team with 42 pancake blocks.

In addition, Alex Camp, Shaun Hill and Stanley Williams were named second team All-Northeast Georgia. Camp rushed for a team best 1,044 yards with 12 touchdowns from his fullback position.

Hill had 34 pancake blocks while Williams had two kickoff returns for scores in addition to 964 yards on the ground with nine scores. Williams was second team kicker returner.

Apalachee linebacker Johnny Thompson was named to the second team defense after recording nine tackles for a loss, five sacks, one forced fumble and one interception during his sophomore season.

Winder-Barrow High School senior Hogan Anderson was named second team linebacker after recording 97 total tackles (10 for loss), an interception and two sacks.

AHS players named honorable mention included Zay Henry and Rakim Peters. WBHS players named honorable mention included Asa Thornton, Jody Royal and Atrez Gladmon. Henry and Thornton were named honorable mention for offense with the rest listed for defense.
