Eagles Host Tourney Play Tues.

The East Jackson Eagles wrapped up their pre-Christmas schedule Friday night with a victory over Oglethorpe County.

That leaves the Eagles 1-1 in the region and 4-4 overall going into the Christmas break.

The Eagles will return to action next Tuesday, Dec. 28, when they host the Wingslinger Holiday Bash, a three-day tournament at EJCHS.

Oglethorpe County

The Eagles played host to Oglethorpe County Friday night in the second region pairing of the season for East Jackson.

The Eagles took control early, outscoring the Patriots two-to-one to take a 17-8 lead after one period. They led 50-23 at the half and 53-35 after three periods before finishing off the Patriots 68-66

Cody Gibbs led in scoring with 19 points, followed by Jermaine Davis with 16 and Nathan Crumley with 10.
