The East Jackson mat Eagles will travel to Jefferson Friday and Saturday to take part in the annual Panther Invitational at Jackson County Comprehensive High School, along with several other local teams, including Commerce, Jefferson, Banks County and Madison County.
East Jackson seeks improvement over last year’s results in the Invitational, where they placed 21st.
Following the Jackson County meet, the Eagles will host Loganville and North Oconee on Dec. 8, then take part in the Apalachee tournament on Dec. 10 and 11.
The Mat Eagles will return home to host Banks County and Gainesville on Dec. 14, and then travel to Loganville for tournament action on Dec. 18-19 before hosting Clarke Central on Dec. 21. East Jackson will wrap up the 2010 portion of its schedule with a duals tournament at Hart County on Dec. 30.
January will start out with the Region Duals at Jefferson on Jan 7-8. After hosting Washington-Wilkes on Jan. 11, East Jackson will travel to Macon for the State Duals on Jan. 14-15.
The Mat Eagles will travel to Oconee County on Jan. 18, then head to Alcovy for the East Metro Tournament on Jan. 21-22. That’s followed by a match with East Hall on the road on Jan. 25, and the Sweet Onion Classic at Toombs County on Jan. 28-29.
