7-3, 4-1 Leopards close out 2010

Friday night just wasn’t meant to be for the Leopards, as Hart County took a 34-13 win.

Banks County opened with a drive to the Bulldog 30-yard line, but couldn’t get into the end zone.

The Leopards had 11 possessions, but were only able to turn two of those into scoring opportunities. Banks County started cutting into the deficit in the second half after Hart County pulled ahead in the first half.

“Hart County did well, they have a good team,” said Armstrong. “We played them close, just not close enough.”

Leopard Spots
The Leopards picked up 314 offensive yards, very close to Hart County’s 360 yards of offense.

QB Harrison Dale was 7-for-10 passing with one TD pass to Marquaze Maddox on a seven-yard play. Dale had 72 yards passing. Eli Autry caught two for 42 yards.

Dylan Lackey and Dean Ewing picked up Banks County’s second score of the night after a carry by Lackey popped loose at the end zone, where Ewing recovered to put the points on the board.

Jeremy Greenway led the Leopards’ rushing game on 17 carries for 142 yards. Lackey added up 62 yards also on 17 carries and Dale played QB keeper for seven yards on four attempts.
