Jefferson senior Chris Jackson ran for 160 yards and two scores Friday and also caught a touchdown pass as the Dragons (6-4) ran past East Hall (3-7) on senior night at Memorial Stadium.
For the third straight week, Jefferson scored 35 points in the first half as it ended the year with a three-game winning streak. The victory also secured a winning season for Jefferson's seniors who close their careers with a 36-10 mark.
The Jefferson offense ended the year by scoring 40 points in three straight games. Besides Jackson, Drequn Sewell and Isaiah Blake ran for touchdowns against East Hall and Byrant Shirreffs threw for 57 yards and one score. Cole Givens also scored a touchdown by recovering a blocked punt by Sewell.
Defensively, four Dragons finished with 10 tackles: Wesley Simonton, Jackson, Zach Allen and Kyle Mosley.
