The Madison County Red Raiders ended their state playoff campaign tonight in a rematch to Union Grove 8-4.
While the ladies would have preferred to stay a bit longer in Columbus, the 2010 season is still a huge accomplishment.
Madison County sets a new school record with a 34-5 season, defended the 8-AAAA region title and brought home fourth in state.
See next week's Madison County Journal for more.

The Lady Raiders did an incredible job this season! Every single lady did their part and the outcome is something they should be proud of for the rest of their lives. I am very proud to have a niece on this team and enjoyed every single game. Coach Kesler and the rest of the coaching staff did a wonderful job, too. Good job, Raiders!!
