Red Raiders fall to Union Grove

Four runs in the top of the first made all the difference as Madison County fell in the first round of the state finals this afternoon in Columbus. Union Grove won 4-0 over the Red Raiders. Coach Doug Kesler said he thought it was a little anxiety from playing on the "big stage." Madison County takes on Loganville tomorrow (Friday) at 11 a.m. in Columbus for the second round of the state finals. The Red Raiders have one more loss before elmination.
