Leopard fans were treated to a spectacle Friday night as the Banks County Leopards marked four straight wins over Rabun County in a 40-13 romp.
The win not only keeps Banks County (6-1; 3-0) undefeated in sub-region play, but it also marked the completion of one of the team’s goals as the Leopard offense did not receive a single penalty.
“This was big for us,” coach Blair Armstrong said. “One of our goals this season has been eliminating penalties, and Friday night we achieved that. It is hard to go a whole game without a penalty. It was a strong execution all around and a big achievement for us.”
Dylan Lackey rushed for four TDs Friday night and had 125 yards rushing. Melissa Hester/submit
