Eagles Face Titans Friday

North Oconee has scored 233 points this season, an average of 38.8 per game, while the Eagles have scored 148, a 24.7 per-game average. North Oconee can also boast a strong defense, allowing just 45 points to 85 allowed by the Eagles, a per-game average of 14.2.

Head coach Frank Caputo said he thinks his team can stay with North Oconee if the kids decide to do so.

“We’ve stayed with everybody else,” he said. “Even with Hart, we were right there with them right to the end, and they were supposedly going to walk through the region. So I think it’s really up to the kids and what kind of attitude they bring with them onto the field Friday night.”

Caputo said if his team can eliminate its mistakes, it will be in good shape.

“We can’t worry about everybody else,” he said. “We’ve got to eliminate our mistakes and get ourselves back focused on what we’ve got to do.”
