Lady Hawks win one, lose one

Mill Creek traveled to West Forsyth on Friday to begin a two day tournament.

In their first match, the Lady Hawks lost to Centennial High School by a score of 20-25 and 19-25.

Ashley Jackson led Mill Creek with 18 assists. Mo Simmons had five kills and Lindsay Davis added four.

In the second match of the evening, the Lady Hawks defeated Pickens High School winning 25-11 and 25-15. Simmons had eight kills and eight blocks for Mill Creek. Jackson added 15 assists and three aces while Davis had five kills for the match.

The Lady Hawks (5-2) continue tournament play on Saturday.
