The East Jackson Lady Eagles hope to end their softball season on a high note.
A forfeit by Hart County in a game slated for Sept. 30 meant East Jackson’s regular season was slated to end on Tuesday against Jackson County. A win would send the Lady Eagles into the playoffs.
“They’re a solid team,” said coach Jason Rainey. “They’ve got good coaching and good pitching. We played them very well last time, so I think our girls have confidence and have gained confidence. It will be a good rivalry. Everybody’s friends between our two teams. It should be a good game.”
