It’s a big week for the Banks County Leopards (3-1) as Big Blue gets set to start region play, hosting the Union County Panthers (1-3) on Friday night. It’s also Homecoming Friday night for Banks County, and the Leopards are looking for a spirited stadium full of fans.
While halftime will feature some Banks County girls in their best attire, what coach Blair Armstrong wants to see is the boys play a strong game for the first 2010 region win.
Union County may be 1-3 coming into the game, but that doesn’t diminish the fact the Panthers have a strong arm on its QB. During last week’s off week, the Leopards spent several hours in practice working on the defense to shutdown the receivers.
