The Lady Leopards’ softball season is drawing to a close with the last game of the regular season being played on Wednesday.
Today (Wednesday) Banks County hosts Dawson County in the final game and senior night. The game was rescheduled from this coming Thursday due to the number of Homecoming activities and festival, according to school officials.
The three seniors on the team, Laura Rose Pickens, Courtney Entrekin and Brooke Harris have helped mold the team into shape this season.
Banks County is 13-9, 5-4 heading into the final region showdown. Dawson County is also 5-4 in the region and Banks needs the win to remain in the third place spot in the sub-region standings.
