Volleyball: Panthers drop Monday matches

Jackson County dropped a pair of Monday sub-area matches, falling to East Hall and East Jackson in three-game matches.

The Panthers lost to the Vikings 12-25, 27-25, 25-21 and the Eagles 12-25, 25-21, 26-24.

Four days earlier, Jackson County lost to rival Jefferson 25-15, 25-14.

The Panthers have six matches remaining before postseason play starts Oct. 5 with the Area 8-AA/A tournament.
