Chase Elliott made sure all the accolades were kept in the family, winning the inaugural George Elliott Memorial 100 Saturday at Gresham Motorsports Park.
Elliott captured the event honoring his grandfather by leading every lap of the 100-circuit Super Late Model test on the GMP half-mile oval. It wasn’t easy, however, as Elliott had to hold off Bubba Pollard over the final 15 laps to score the victory.
