•East Jackson’s coach: Frank Caputo (fourth year at EJCHS, 18th season overall, 93-89) Caputo coached one year at Jackson County.

•East Jackson’s X’s and O’s: The Eagles run the Wing-T on offense and employ a 3-5-3 scheme on defense. “They’ve got some pretty good kids and they’re well-coached and do a good job,” Panther coach Billly Kirk said.

•Coach’s take: “They’ve done a good job over there at East Jackson,” Kirk said. “You can’t take away from what they’ve accomplished and their success.”
