After a busy week, the East Jackson Lady Eagles volleyball team is taking a moment to catch its breath.
They’ll return to the court on Monday as they travel across the county to face the Lady Panthers of Jackson County, along with East Hall. Match time is scheduled for 6 p.m. against East Hall, with the Jackson County match to follow.
On Tuesday, Sept. 7, the Lady Eagles played host to East Hall and Jefferson. They came away with a 2-0 victory over the Lady Vikings, with set scores of 26-24 and 25-15. Kiersten Meehan had five aces against East Hall, while Jenna Dukes had four kills and Haley Simmons had two blocks.
