The Jefferson High School volleyball team has already reached the 20-win plateau, beating Lakeview Academy and Prince Avenue Christian Tuesday.
Jefferson beat Lakeview 25-13, 25-15 and Prince Avenue 26-24, 25-17.
The victories moved the Dragons to 8-0 in the sub-area.
In the match against Lakeview, Jefferson was led by Cassie Metcalf (five aces, one kill), Amanda Daniel (three kills, eight assists), Taylor Cramsey (seven kills), Eden Starnes (three aces, three kills) and Sarah Wood (two aces, three kills).
"We executed our offense and served well throughout the match,” coach Mike Paul said.
Against Prince Avenue, Taylor Cramsey led Jefferson’s attack with 15 aces and five blocks. Others contributing to the win were Metcalf (five kills), Daniel (three kills, 14 assists), Starnes (three kills, one ace), Savanna Holland (one kill, two blocks) and Brianna Patterson (five aces).
"I was very proud of our team for taking a game plan and sticking to it,” Paul said.
