The Madison County High School softball team could use a defensive boost as well as an offensive one, too.
The Raiders enter today’s (Thursday’s) game with Heritage, coming off a frustrating 6-0 loss to Loganville Tuesday.
Madison County, which dropped to 4-3, accrued more unearned runs (four) than hits (three) in falling to the Red Devils.
“We gave up those unearned runs, but still, you’ve got to score to win,” head coach Doug Kesler said.
